The aim of the Koniklec Ecocentre's educational programme is to introduce children to what happens in the garden in spring. The program is focused on outdoor living and exploration activities. Children will learn about the inhabitants of the garden from the plant and animal kingdom. They will learn that trees and shrubs wake up from their buds, and they will also help to awaken the garden with a small bed in which they sow plant seeds. They will learn about the garden's inhabitants from the insect kingdom and try to make their own earthworm house so they can observe earthworms at work and understand their importance to the soil.
